The Wood Master operates on a simple but very efficient principle. The furnace warms water to its optimal heating temperature which is constantly maintained by automatic controls. The heated water is then piped to the desired location. This transfer is more efficient than forced air. A circulation pump continuously circulates the heated water to provide proper heat distribution and ensures that the desired temperature is maintained.

The versatile design of the Wood Master makes it compatible with most existing heating systems, hot water, forced air, hydronic heat, radiant baseboard, existing water-to-water, and in the floor. The installation is easy and allows the Wood Master to be used as a primary heat source or in conjunction with your existing heating system.

Smart Heat Baffle
and Damper

Baffle design helps reduce heat loss through the chimney, provides more efficient heat transfer and delivers more even heat. It’s also conveniently located at the top of the fire chamber so as to not restrict the length of wood used. With the damper in the closed position, stack temperatures are reduced as much as 53%. In the open position, it allows the smoke to exit directly out the back of the furnace (fire chamber).

High Efficiency

The round fire chamber and water jacket deliver a higher efficiency and more durable construction with approximately 40% less welds than that of a square fire chamber.

Over Fire Air Injection improves internal air movement and efficiency.

Induced Fan Draft allows faster recovery of water temperature in the jacket.
